Rag doll

Once upon a time a rag doll who lived on a farm. She spent her time locked in the basement. At night she was crying because she was alone. But no one heard her laments.

The farmer was an old man called Tom. He was a full of pity man, funny and friendly. There were a lot of sheeps, three cows, one cockerel and some laying hen. There were too four hunting dogs and a few cats that kept the place free to rats and mice.

But one day Tom fell ill. He couldn't milk de cows or sheep shearing. Tom wasn't married and hadn't got any child. But he had got a lot of friends. Some of them cleaned and cooked for him and also fed to animals. But time passed and Tom wasn't healing.

The village's doctor was disconcerted because medicine hadn't effect. People believed Tom was dying and the farm's animals were unhappy. Or cows or sheeps producing milk, and laying hens weren't putting eggs.

Near to the farm there was a little baby. It was a cold night at February and the child was ill. The baby had been deserted in the night. When Tom's neighbour were turning at home he were heard the baby's crying. He caught it and took it to Tom's house. The child was crying and crying. When he arrived it put it near to hearth. Not much later it stopped crying. But the man still heard a crying. It was coming to down and the old man went to the basement. There weren't any more than a dirty doll.

The man believed that it could be a good present for the child. He caught it and took it up. At the moment the crying stopped. There was a great silence. Then Tom opened his eyes.

Tom had slept for a long time and had dreamed with a baby and a dirty doll.

Now Tom is eighty five years old, and is happy and healthy. The boy is a good guy. He is studying in the university. The doll didn't cry anymore. Cows and sheeps produce milk and the laying hens put eggs. All people is happy in the village and this one is the finish of the story.

Bye bye!
